The Misericordia University softball team split a pair of games at the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, Florida, Tuesday.

MU dropped the opener to Bluffton, 13-5, but rebounded to beat Gwynedd-Mercy, 11-1.

Hollie Sarnak had two hits, including a homer, and three RBI in the opener while Kat Lucenti, Ashley Ballard and Gina Urbon all added doubles.

In the nightcap, Katie Eiden tossed a three-hitter and struck out 10 to pick up the win.

Lindsay Miller had three hits and four RBI and Sarnak had three hits, including two doubles, while driving in three.

Ballard added two hits and Nicole Hoskins had two RBI.

MU will face Eastern Mennonite and Ferrum, Wednesday.
