The Misericordia University women's tennis team opened its spring season in Hilton Head, SC.

The Cougars lost to St. Lawrence, 9-0, and lost to Ohio Wesleyan and Wittenberg, 7-2.

Abby Searfoss and Sam Scalpone both won in singles play against Ohio Wesleyan.

Against Wittenberg, Searfoss won at first singles and Jennifer Spott and Scalpone won at third doubles.

The Cougars will host Elizabethtown, March 28.
