The Misericordia University baseball team won their second straight non-conference game, 11-6, at Drew, Wednesday.
Bubba Jasinski had four hits and two RBIs and
Nate Hamlin and
Jamie Philippi had three hits each.
Andrew Tressa had two hits and drove in three runs.
Andrew Yasinski earned the win with 3-1/3 innings of shutout relief.
The Cougars took a 4-1 lead in the top of the third on RBI doubles by
Anthony Goncalves and
Kenny Durling and a
Brian Verdelli sacrifice fly and a single by Jasinski.
Leading 4-3 in the fifth, they tacked on two more runs with RBI-singles by
Chris Tuttle and Hamllin.
Jasinski and Tressa drove in runs in a three-run eighth-inning.
Misericordia is 9-5 and will host Manhattanville, Friday at 3:30.
