Karissa Kross picked up her first collegiate victory as the Misericordia University softball team salvaged a split with a 6-3 win over Carthage, Monday at the Rebel Games.

Gina Urbon had three hits, including a double, and Nicole Boccia had a two-run double in the first inning.

Nicole Hoskins had two hits as the Cougars scored all six runs in the first two innings.

In the opener, Marietta scored six runs in the top of the first enroute to a 9-4 win.

Courtney Novajosky had thee hits and two RBI's and Urbon had two hits.

The Cougars are 2-2.
