The Misericordia baseball team dropped a doubleheader at Delaware Valley, 9-2, 12-4, Saturday.
Kenny Durling had a double and a triple in the opener and Bubba Jasinski added two hits.

The Cougars took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first when Nate Newman singled, stole second and came home on Durling's triple. Jasinski made it 2-0 with the first of his two hits.

Del Val came back with three runs in the third and scored in each of their last four at-bats.

Durling had a two-run homer in the nightcap and Scott Huddle had a double and two RBIs.

In the nightcap, MU again took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first on Durling's two-run homer.

The Aggies went ahead with six runs in the bottom of the second.

Misericordia scored in the fifth when Jeff Slanovec doubled and scored on Huddle's fielder's choice.

MU added another run in the seventh when Brian Verdelli reached on a pinch-hit single and Huddle drove him in with a double.

MU is 18-16 and will host Alvernia, Tuesday at 3:30.
