The Misericordia University field hockey team scored a pair of second half goals to pick up its first Freedom Conference win, 2-1, Saturday at Manhattanville.
Katie Gabriele and
Samantha Sorokas both scored for MU while
Haley Ellis added an assist.
Haley Brandt made 10 saves in goal.
Trailing 1-0 at halftime, Gabriele tipped in a pass from Ellis to tie the score five minutes into the second half.
Sorokas added the game winner on a penalty stroke with 18 minutes remaining.
The Cougars have won two straight and will host FDU-Florham, Wednesday.
