Eric Kishbaugh scored a pair of goals to lift the Misericordia University men's soccer team to a 4-0 win over Arcadia, Saturday afternoon at Mangelsdorf Field.

Dan Pinto had a goal and an assist and Josh Pfahl added a goal as the Cougars improved to 5-0.

Kishbaugh gave MU a 1-0 lead at 23:30 when he slotted a ball inside the right post to beat the Knights keeper.

Pfhal came off the bench and made it 2-0 off a re-start at 32:23. Pinto took a free kick from just outside the penalty area and Bryce Houdeshel flicked it on to Pfahl who headed it home.

The Cougars had some excellent scoring chances early in the second half with Pinto ripping a shot at the keeper in the opening minute and the Arcadia goalie making a diving save on Andy Bush's shot five minutes later.

Kishbaugh added another unassisted goal to make it 3-0 in the 68th minute.

Bush had two more excellent scoring chances in the 88th minute, but his first attempt caromed off the right post and his rebound was saved.

Pinto ended the scoring with three minutes to play. TJ Schaefer found Jonathan Grybos near the end line and Grybos served to Pinto whose one-timer went inside the right post.

MU, 5-0, will visit Scranton, Tuesday at 7:00.
