The Misericordia University baseball team completed a perfect Florida trip (8-0) with a doubleheader sweep of Delaware Valley, 4-1, 2-0, Saturday morning in Fort Pierce, Florida.
The Cougars got a pair of complete games on the mound as they opened their Freedom Conference schedule with two wins and extended their winning streak to nine games.
Pat Clark struck out six and scattered nine hits in the opener while
Evan Robaczewski tossed a four-hit shutout in the nightcap.
Ryan Cacchioli had two hits in the first game and
Gabe Noyalis drove in two runs.
Noyalis added two hits in the second game while
Kenny Durling had two hits, including a double.
Misericordia, 11-1, will travel to Neumann, Tuesday.
