Gabe Noyalis (2-1) and Matt Karabin (4-1) both earned wins for the Misericordia University baseball team to complete the season sweep of King's, 8-3 and 6-2, Saturday at Roosevelt Field.

Noyalis and Karabin both pitched complete games and Kenny Durling went 3-5 with three RBI and a homerun.

In game one, after King's walked the bases loaded, Ryan Cacchioli singled to left to plate Bubba Jasinski and Jeff Slanovec to take a 3-1 lead after one inning of play.

Will Minderjahn opened the bottom of the third with a single to left and scored after a failed pickoff attempt and an error.  Nate Hamlin flied out to right field to plate Jeff Slanovec and take a 5-0 lead after three innings of play.

The Monarchs answered with a run in both the top of the fourth and sixth, but Andrew Tressa doubled to left field to score Cacchioli and cap off the scoring at 6-2.

In game two, MU scored in the first when Slanovec grounded into a fielder's choice to score Tressa and take an early 1-0 lead.

In the bottom of the fifth, Minderjahn had a lead-off homerun over the right field fence to go up 2-0.  With two outs, Tressa doubled down the left field line to plate Tagliarini and Mike Impellittiere singled to put runners at the corners.  Durling ripped a homer down the left field line to extend the lead to six after five innings of play.

King's answered with a three run home run in the top of the sixth, but Tagliarini singled to left center to drive in Tuttle and Cacchioli and make the final score 8-3, in favor of MU.

The Cougars are now 29-6 (15-3) and will face Marywood on Wednesday.
