Jonathan Grybos scored his first two goals of the season to lead the Misericordia University men's soccer team to a 4-2 win at Baptist Bible, Thursday.
Tim Ryan and
Nick Ferguson both added goals for the Cougars.
Dan Fritz and
Ryan Swartwood both made three saves in goal while
Dennis Halpin had a solid game at center back for the MU defense.
Ryan gave the Cougars an early 1-0 lead when he fired a shot in the upper corner at 5:59.
After the Defenders tied it on a deflected shot just five minutes later,
Andy Bush played a ball across the top of the box and Ferguson put MU back in front with a left-footed shot from 18 yards out.
Grybos collected a through ball from Troy Harman and slotted a shot past the BBC keeper for a 3-1 lead at 29:38.
T.J. Schaefer found Grybos who ended the MU scoring with another slotted ball at 70:05 and BBC added a goal with less than three minutes to play.
MU, 4-4, will travel to Elizabethtown, Saturday.
