Box Score The Misericordia University men's soccer team earned a major Freedom Conference win on Saturday, defeating FDU-Florham, 2-1. With just one league game left on the schedule, the Cougars are 4-2 and 11-5 overall.

Nick vonEgypt got the scoring started in the 12th minute when he scored his team-leading ninth goal of the season. 

Derek Antonini gave the Cougars some insurance before the half, scoring in the 34th minute.

FDU tried to mount a second half comeback and cut the lead to 2-1 in the 58th minute but were never able to even it up.

The Cougars took just four shots for the game compared to the Devils' five.

MU is back in action in Oct. 30th against Susquehanna.
