Box Score The Misericordia University field hockey scored four first half goals en route to a 5-1 at Marywood in non-conference action, Thursday afternoon.
Allie Elmes scored two goals and
Rebecca Hindman and
Lindsay Hischak both added a goal and assist for the Cougars.
Emily Hegner added a goal as the Cougars improved to 2-8.
Angela Pasquini made two saves in goal to earn the win.
Hegner got the scoring started for the visitors just 5:52 into the contest when she finished a feed from Hindman.Â
Hindman made it 2-0 at the 8:00 mark when she scored on a helper from
Hannah Harvey.
Misericordia went up 3-0 in the 14th minute on a penalty corner when Elmes scored her first of two on the day with the assist going to Hischak.Â
Hischak then scored in the 28th minute unassisted on a reboud to make it 4-0. Elmes would tally her second goal of the day 12 minutes into the second half.
Marywood got on the board with less than five minutes remaining when Bower finished a feed from Morin after a give and go.
Misericordia will travel to Manhattanville, Saturday.
