Box Score Jennifer O'Neill scored two goals and added two assists and the Misericordia University field hockey team closed out the regular season with a 5-2 victory over Albright on Thursday.
The win moves the Cougars to 7-12 overall and the loss drops the Lions to 6-13. The Cougars will open Freedom Conference tournament play on Nov. 6.
O'Neill got the scoring started for MU in the 30th minute and then the Cougars began to attack the cage at a frantic pace.

Lindsay Hischak and
Emily Hegner fired shot after shot at the Lion keeper before Hegner finally slipped one in to give MU a 2-0 lead in the 36th minute before O'Neill scored again.
The Cougars took a 4-0 lead into the break when O'Neill gave out a helper to
Hannah Harvey and they took a five goal lead when O'Neill assisted on a goal to
Allie Elmes.
The Lions scored two late goals to make the final 5-2.
