Box Score Lindsay Hischak gave the Misericordia University field hockey team an early lead, but the University of Scranton scored four goals in the final eight minutes en route to a 5-1 win, Wednesday night at Scranton.
Hannah Harvey assisted on Hischak's blast from the left side as the Cougars took a 1-0 lead just under five minutes into the game.
The Royals tied it, 1-1, midway through the first period and the score stood until the closing minutes.
Scranton went ahead with 7:30 remaining and added an insurance goal less than two minutes later.
Scranton score twice more in the final 90 seconds for the final margin.
Angela Pasquini made 12 saves in goal for the Cougars who will host Juniata, Friday.
