Box Score The Misericordia University baseball team dropped a 3-2 decision to Susquehanna, Tuesday in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Jeremy DeCotiis led the Cougars with three hits and an RBI while
Kyle Lindsay added a hit and RBI.
Dan Kliesh worked six shutout innings in his first collegiate outing before absorbing the loss.
Misericordia took a 2-0 in the top of the third inning.Â
Nick Hair drew a one-out walk and
Chris Boroch singled to left center before an RBI-single by DeCotiis. Lindsay followed with a sacrifice fly to center.
Susquehanna took the lead in the bottom of the seventh thanks to three hits and key MU error.
MU threatened in the top of eighth when
Steve Cuccio led off with a single and DeCotiis reached base for the fourth time via hit by pitch, but the Crusaders worked out of the jam.
Misericordia, 2-2, will face Lebanon Valley, Wednesday.
