The Cougars scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth to break a 3-3 tie and beat Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, 5-3.

MU dropped the opener to Lebanon Valley, 6-1.

Misericordia fell behind Rose-Hulman, 3-0, but Whitney Ellenberg drilled a three-run homer in the bottom of the fifth inning to tie the score.

Megan Gowe's two-out, two-run double in the sixth provided the winning margin.

Melannie Quintanilla had two hits and score two runs.

Alissa Steier struck out three in two innings of relief to earn the win.

Gowe added three hits in the loss to Lebanon Valley.

Leb Val scored six unearned runs, including five in the third inning.
