Box Score The Misericordia University baseball team dropped a 9-0 decision to Widener University in non-conference action, Thursday afternoon at Tambur Field.

Kyle Seawards led the Cougars with a pair of hits, including a double.

Brett Davis and Ryan Cacchioli both worked scoreless innings of relief on the mound.

Widener scored in each of the first three innings to take an early 5-0 lead.

The Pride added single runs in the fifth and sixth and scored a pair on a two-run homer in the seventh.

Misericordia left 10 runners on base while Widener turned three double plays.

Misericordia, 15-9-1, returns to Freedom Conference play when they host Delaware Valley, Friday.
