Box Score 2 The Misericordia University baseball team split a doubleheader at Delaware Valley, Saturday afternoon.
After taking the opener, 12-2, the Cougars dropped the nightcap, 3-1.
In the opener
Joe Tagliarini had three hits and drove in two runs while
Chris Boroch and
Mike Comerford added two hits each.

Tim Burek scattered five hits over five innings to earn the win while
Shane McGraw and
Cory Vogeli both tossed scoreless innings in relief to close the game.
In the second game, Boroch had a hit and scored while
Max German drove in MU's lone run.
In the opener, MU took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first when Boroch reached via hit by pitch and eventually scored on German's RBI-single.
The Cougars broke the game open with six runs in the second.
Consecutive singles by Comerford,
Kyle Seawards and Tagliarini made it 2-0. Back-to-back walk by Reda and DeCotiis drove in a run and Boroch singled to right to make it 4-0.
Hair drew a bases-loaded walk and Lindsay capped the rally with a two-run single.
Reda doubled in the third and Boroch and Hair added back-to-back run-scoring singles.
In the nightcap, Boroch led off the game with a single and scored on German's single to center field.
Del Val answered with two runs in the bottom of the frame and added an insurance run in the fifth.
Corey Lee was the tough-luck loser despite allowing just seven hits over six innings.
Misericordia is 17-10 overall and 10-4 in the Freedom Conference and will host Keystone in a non-conference tilt, Monday at 3:30 at Tambur Field.
