Box Score Derek Antonini scored with just over a minute to play to lift the Misericordia University men's soccer team to a 2-1 win at Arcadia, Saturday afternoon.

MU's Barry Kabinoff scored his first collegiate goal off a feed from Nick vonEgypt with less than six minutes remaining to tie score.

Barry Fitzgerald made five saves in goal as the Cougars improved to 4-1-1.

Arcadia broke a scoreless tie with a goal at 41:41 and the lead held until the closing minutes.

With Christopher Edkins and Trey Ziegler joining vonEgypt, Antonini and Kabinoff in applying pressure on the attack, the Cougars tallied the first goal of the season against Arcadia.

vonEgypt went wide, carried the ball up the sideline and served a ball to the far post where Kabinoff headed home his first goal at 84:50.

Four minutes later, Antonini cut inside, beat two Arcadia defenders and poked home the game-winner at 88:54.

MU will travel to Scranton, Tuesday.
