Box Score Lindsay Hischak had a goal and an assist as the Misericordia field hockey team beat Delaware Valley, 2-0, Saturday afternoon.

Jen O'Neill added a goal and Colby Eldridge as the Cougars won their fifth straight game to improve to 7-9 overall and 4-2 in the MAC Freedom.

Misericordia held a 14-9 advantage in shots and didn't a shot on goal.  The Cougars had a 17-3 edge in corners.

After a scoreless first half, Hischak gave the Cougars the lead nearly 10 minutes into the second half.

Melanie Fry's shot off a penalty corner hit the post and Eldridge fed the ball to Hischak for the score at 44:40.

O'Neill added an insurance goal when she slipped a shot inside the right post nearly 10 minutes later.

The Cougars will travel to Wilkes for a key MAC Freedom contest, Tuesday at 4:00.
