Box Score The Misericordia University field hockey team saw its six-game winning streak snapped with a 3-2 overtime loss at Alvernia, Thursday night.
Lindsay Hischak had a goal and an assist to lead the Cougars and
Kailey Vogl added a goal.
Vogl scored with 10 minutes remaining in regulation and Hischak tied it off a corner after time had expired.
Alvernia took a 1-0 lead on a breakaway goal midway through the first half and added an insurance goal on a deflection on a corner six minutes into the second half.
Vogl cut the deficit in half with just under 10 minutes remaining with an assist from Hischak.
Hischak scored off a corner in extra time to force overtime.
Angela Pasquini made six saves in goal for MU.
Misericordia will wrap up the regular season when they host Albright in a non-conference game, Saturday at 1:00.
