The Misericordia University women's basketball team lost to Allegheny, 77-60, in the consolation game of the Marriott Columbus Airport Tournament, Wednesday afternoon at Capital (OH).

Justine Seely had another double-double for the Cougars with 21 points and 11 rebounds.  Liz Waleski added 12 points and Leanne Forsyth had seven points and seven rebounds.

Allegheny scored the game's first nine points and took a 19-2 lead midway through the first period.

Misericordia travels to Geneseo, Saturday.
