Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Misericordia University softball team opened the season with a pair of tough losses in Clermont, FL.

MU dropped its opener to #20 Augustana, 3-2, and lost the nightcap to John Carroll, 5-3.

Cailey Ware had two hits and an RBI in the opener and Andi Veneziale had a solo homer in the second game.  Kristi Seiler added two hits in the nigthcap while Same Hare and Melissa Parker both drove in runs.

Alissa Steier scattered five hits while absorbing the loss in the opener while Maddie Stebich took the loss against John Carroll.
