The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team dominated Rosemont College from start to finish, earning a 16-3 victory over the Ravens on Monday afternoon at Mangelsdorf Field.
 
Liz Mulvey led the Cougars relentless offensive attack with five goals while Brooke North and Alexandra Elmes added three goals each. Juliano followed with two goals and two assists while Erin Baker added two goals of her own. Olivia Garcia finished the game with one goal and one assist.

Taylor Simeone and Emily Hegner each caused two turnovers while Katie McLoughlin and Jenn Gazdick played 30 minutes and recorded three saves each in the victory.
 
Rosemont struck first in the game, but the all the Ravens early goal did was awaken the Cougars' offense. Baker, Mulvey, Juliano and Elmes led MU on a 4-0 run over a five minute span, giving the Cougars a 4-1 lead with 22 minutes left in the first half.
 
The Ravens added another later in the half, however Mulvey, Baker, North, Elmes, Juliano and Garcia led the Cougars on a dominating 9-1 run in the final 20 minutes of the half, giving MU a 13-3 lead after the game's first 30 minutes.
 
North, Elmes and Mulvey scored one goal each to put the game out of reach at 16-3 with 14:06 left. Neither team added another goal and the Cougars emerged with the victory.
 
With the win, MU improves to 3-6 on the season, while the Ravens fall to 2-4.
 
The Cougars return to action Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 against Neumann at Mangelsdorf Field.
