Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Misericordia University softball team dropped two tough games Thursday night in Clermont, FL.
 
The Cougars fell 6-4 to Mt. Union and 10-4 to Rose-Hulman in the nightcap.
 
Kristi Seiler led the Cougars with two hits and two RBI in the loss to Mt. Union. Cailey Ware and Melanie Quintanilla drove in the Cougar's other two runs while Whitney Ellenberg and Lori Brennan picked up two hits each.
 
Alissa Steier absorbed the loss, striking out two batters over six innings in the circle.
 
Diana Kestenbaum led the Cougars in their loss to Rose-Hulman, going 3-4 with two RBI while Megan Hardy added two hits. Melissa Parker and Sam Hare each drove in a run as well.
 
The Cougars wrap up their early season Florida trip with games against Mitchell and St. Scholastica on Friday afternoon.
