Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Misericordia University softball team split their final two games Friday afternoon in Clermont, FL.
 
The Cougars fell 8-6 to St. Scholastica and then shutout Mitchell College 5-0 in the finale.
 
Megan Hardy led the Cougars with two hits and two RBI while Kristi Seiler drove in two with two hits. Jessica Pluta and Andi Veneziale drove in one run each in the loss to St. Scholastica.
 
Whitney Ellenberg led the Cougars in the nightcap with two hits and two RBI while Melanie Quintanilla also drove in two runs. Seiler drove in the other run in the 5-0 victory.
 
With the win, MU concludes its trip to Florida with a record of 5-7.
 
The Cougars return to action with a doubleheader at DeSales on Saturday afternoon.
