Box Score The Misericordia University softball team finished its regular season with a 6-2 loss at Lebanon Valley College on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Kristi Seiler and Megan Hardy finished the game with two hits each while Whitney Ellenberg and Melissa Parker drove in one run each in the loss.
 
Alissa Steier surrendered two hits and one earned run over three innings in the circle. Jordan Hoffman added a scoreless bottom of the seventh with one strikeout in relief.
 
Lebanon Valley jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the home half of the first and then added four more runs in the bottom of the fourth, taking a 5-0 lead into the fifth.
 
Ellenberg then tightened LVC's lead to 5-1 with an RBI double to centerfield in the top of the fifth.
 
The Dutchmen struck right back with one run in home half of the sixth, making it a 6-2 ballgame.
 
Parker then drove in MU's final run with a sacrifice fly to centerfield in the top of the sixth.
 
Neither team plated another run and LVC hung on for the 6-2 victory.
 
With the loss, MU finishes its regular season with an overall record of 24-13. Lebanon Valley improved to 12-21.
