Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Cougars Cruise to a 3-0 Victory at DeSales

The Misericordia men's soccer team won 3-0 at DeSales, Wednesday afternoon.

Trey Ziegler, George Stock and Anthony Ippolito each found the back of the net one time. Ethan Aigeldinger, Niko Amity and Dante Ippolito each added one assist.

The Cougars saw a lot of the ball to start the game, firing off seven shots in the first 25 minutes. In the 32nd minute they broke through.

D. Ippolito sent in a free kick into the box that Aigeldinger redirected towards Ziegler who fired it in to make it 1-0 MU.

Seconds later, Misericordia was awarded a penalty that Stock converted to give Misericordia a 2-0 lead.

A. Ippolito scored off a pass from Amity to close the scoring for the Cougars.

MU outshot DeSales 15-2 and didn't allow a shot by the Bulldogs in the second half. MU also held a 5-3 edge in corners.

The Cougars will host FDU-Florham, Saturday at 7:30.
