Japriya Carroll had 12 points and eight rebounds for the Cougars while
Rachel Carmody had eight points and a game-high 13 rebounds.

The Aggies used a 22-5 second-half run to break open a tie game and take a 48-29 lead early in the fourth quarter.

Carroll hit a three-pointer to pull the Cougars even, 26-26, early in the third quarter, but the Aggies scored seven straight points to go up 33-26.

Nikki Baro converted a three-point play but the Aggies responded with a 15-0 spurt over the next six minutes.

Carroll had a pair of layups as the Cougars cut the deficit to 54-44 with 2:24 to play, but they couldn't draw closer.

Down 16-10 late in the first quarter, Carmody scored twice in the final 1:14 and Baro opened the second quarter with a jumper to tie the score, 16-16.

Neither team scored for more than four minutes before the Aggies went ahead, 21-18.

Jackie Hajec drained a three-pointer and a
Leanne Forsyth jumper gave the Cougars a 23-21 lead with less than a minute left in the first half.

Del Val got a steal and layup at the buzzer to head to halftime tied, 23-23.
