Box Score The Misericordia University baseball team lost to Messiah, 12-4, Tuesday afternoon at the Clemente Cup in Rincon, Puerto Rico.
 
Vinny Annunziata had a hit in his first career start and Kyle Lindsay reached base four times with two walks and two hit by pitches.
 
Connor Rittenhouse and Parker Abate both had RBI.
 
Messiah took advantage of 12 walks by five MU pitchers.
 
The Cougars scored two runs in the bottom of the first and led 3-2 after four innings.
 
Messiah scored three runs in the top of the fifth to take the lead and added three more in the eighth and four in the ninth.
 
Misericordia will face Kean, Thursday at noon.
