Whitney Ellenberg had two hits each in the opener while
Diana Kestenbaum drove in a run.

Parker hit a two-run homer in the nightcap and
Cailey Ware added two hits.

In the opener, FDU-Florham used to home runs to jump out to a 6-0 lead through three innings.

The Cougars got three back in the top of the fourth when Parker singled up the middle and went to third on Ellenberg's double to left center. Ware reached on an error and Kestenbaum singled to center. Ware eventually scored on a wild pitch to get MU within 6-3.

The Devils hit back-to-back homers in the bottom of the first to take a 2-0 lead in the nightcap.

MU cut the lead in half in the second when Ware singled and scored on
Mackenzie Yurko's ground out.

Trailing 5-1, the Cougars scored three runs in the top of the fifth.Â
Abby Marzzacco reached on an error, moved to second on a wild pitch and scored on Ellenberg's ground-rule double. Parker followed with a two-run homer to left to make it 5-4.

FDU answered with two runs in the bottom of the fifth and added to more in the sixth.

MU is 16-10 overall and 5-3 in the MAC Freedom. The Cougars will host Muhlenberg, Wednesday.
