In the opener, King's scored three runs with two outs in the third inning to take a 3-0 lead.
Misericordia answered with a two-out rally of its own in the bottom of the frame.
Jarema lined a two-out single to left and moved to second when Navoczynski reached on an infield error. Comerford lined a two-run double to left and moved to third on a wild pitch. DeCotiis fisted an infield single just over the mound to tie the score and went to second on an errant pick-off attempt.
Iurato reached on a check-swing infield single and stole second in front of Miles Westrich's two-run double into the right field corner. Al Reda reached via hit by pitch and Chris Boroch singled down the right field line to make it 6-3.
The Cougars struck for four more runs in the fourth inning. Jarema drew a lead-off walk and moved up on Navoczynski's single to left. One out later, DeCotiis singled back through the box to put MU ahead, 7-4. Misericordia took advantage of a Monarchs' error and Reda singled in two more runs for a 10-4 lead.
Jim Tunison came on for Vogeli after a lead-off double in the top of the fifth and set the Monarchs down in order.
DeCotiis smashed a two-run double off the fence in right and Ciraolo followed with a two-run pinch-hit homer to right.
In game two, Mason retired King's in order in the first and the Cougars plated two runs in their half.
Boroch walked, stole second and took third on an error and scored on Lindsay's infield single in the hole. Lindsay moved up on a wild pitch and came around on Iurato's soft liner to right to make it 2-0.
After another perfect inning by Mason, DeCotiis reached on a one-out HBP and raced all the way around from first on Westrich's hit-and-run double in the right center field gap. The Cougars took advantage of two more King's miscues and Iurato lined a single to center to push the lead to 7-0.
Misericordia will visit Rutgers-Camden, Sunday.
