The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team remained unbeaten MAC Freedom play with a 10-8 win at Wilkes, Saturday.
Erin Baker had two goals and three assists and Olivia Garcia and Lindsay McKim scored two goals each.
Katie McLoughlin had 10 saves and seven ground balls and Brianna Ladner had five ground balls, three caused turnovers and four draw controls.
Allie Elmes had a goal and four ground balls and Taylor Simeone had three ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Trailing 3-2 midway through the first half, Baker and Garcia sandwiched man-up goals around a goal by McKim to give MU a 5-3 lead with 9:39 left in the first half.
McKim added another goal late in the half as the Cougars took a 6-4 halftime lead.
Garcia, Baker and Elmes all scored in a five-minute span as the Cougars went ahead 9-4 early in the second half.
The Cougars are 8-6 overall and 4-0 in the MAC Freedom and will host Eastern, Monday at 7:00.
