The Misericordia University men's soccer team lost to Arcadia, 2-1, Saturday evening in Glenside, PA.

Matt Norcini scored the lone Cougar goal off an assist from George Stock.

It was a tale of two halves for MU, with Arcadia scoring their first goal 54 seconds into the contest. The Knights struck again 23 minutes later from a corner kick and went into halftime up 2-0, having outplayed the Cougars for most of the half.

The script flipped in the second half and Misericordia dominated the run of play, creating numerous opportunities as they outshot Arcadia 14-6 in the second half.

In the 66^th minute, MU scored when Stock crossed in a ball off a free kick which Norcini headed into the net.

MU got 10 shots off in the final 24 minutes, but couldn't find an equalizer.

The Cougars out-shot the Knights 16-9 and had more corners, 15-10.

Misericordia will play at Scranton, Tuesday at 7:00.
