MU fell to Cortland, 3-0 (15-25, 23-25, 21-25) and Rochester 3-0 (11-25, 26-28, 13-25).

In the first game, Nicole Tagerty had 22 assists and 14 digs while Kaitlin Wheeler had 13 digs.

Michelle Sehested had nine kills and 15 digs. Paige Shaughnessy had seven kills and a team-high 16 digs.

Against Rochester, Sehested had six kills, 13 digs and an ace. Shaughnessy had four kills, 10 digs and an ace.

Tagerty had 16 assists, two kills and 14 digs while Wheeler had 13 digs.

The Cougars play Utica at 11:00 and Fredonia at 1:30 tomorrow at Cortland.
