Noah Rivera to make it 24-13 MU with 13:35 left in the half.
The teams went back and forth as the Cougars tried to pull away.
Harding hit a deep three off a pass from
Michael Brunson and then made a layup to make the score 42-23. The teams traded five point spurts over the next eight minutes as the MU lead fluctuated between 13 and 19. Fields made two foul shots before the Colonels scored in the paint to make the score 56-40 at the half.
The second half was more of the same, with both teams scoring rapidly. MU led 76-58 with 13:43 remaining, and a 9-0 run put the game completely out of reach. Harding and Fields sunk two foul shots, Sponaugle found Fields for a three and Kenny made a layup to make it 85-59.
