The Misericordia University women's basketball team dropped a 74-55 decision at FDU-Florham in MAC Freedom action, Saturday.

Justine Seely had 18 points and seven rebounds to lead the Cougars.

MU led 13-12 late in the first period, but the Devils scored 21 straight points to take a 33-12 lead.

The Cougars trailed 12-7 with 3:35 remaining in the opening quarter, but Seely scored three straight baskets to MU in front with 1:37 left.

FDU closed the quarter on an 8-0 run and opened the second quarter with 13 consecutive points.

Misericordia, 7-5 (1-1), will travel to Eastern, Wednesday.
