The Misericordia University men's soccer team won their second straight game with a 3-1 conference victory over Wilkes, Tuesday night at Mangelsdorf Field.

Nick Szczerba had two goals for the Cougars and
Devin Marriott netted his second goal for the season.

Patrick Hoffman made three saves in goal.

The Cougars scored first in the 15
th minute when Szczerba found the back of the net off a beautiful pass from
Jared Houser.

Hoffman made a diving save with 10 minutes left in the first half to preserve the Cougars lead.

Szczerba scored his second goal of the night off a
John Caracappa corner kick in the 54
th minute.

Wilkes scored off a corner kick in the 60
th minute but the Cougars answered a minute later when Marriott scored on a free kick from 26-yards out to extend the lead to 3-1.

The Cougars had a 20-8 advantage in shots.

Misericordia, 2-2-1 in the MAC Freedom, will face FDU-Florham, Saturday at 11:00 in its final road game of the season.
