Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Misericordia University softball team lost to Concordia and Moravian, Sunday morning in Lake County, Florida.

The Cougars fell to Concordia, 7-3, and to Moravian, 10-0.

Against Concordia, the Cougars jumped out to a 3-0 lead early in the game.

Ciara DeLong drove in Melanie Quintanilla for the opening run of the game. Lori Brennan laid down a sacrifice bunt to score Taylor Kenerson as MU led 2-0 in the first inning.

Victoria Schmidt walked with the bases loaded in the second to score Abby Marzzacco.  Concordia tied the score at 3-3 in the fourth inning and scored four times in the sixth to close the scoring.

Quintanilla was 1-2 with a walk and a run scored and Brennan was 1-3 with a RBI.

Dani Clifford was 3-4 while Marzzacco was 2-3 with a run scored.

The Cougars will play Mt. Union tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.
