The Misericordia University women's volleyball team split a tri-match with Marywood and Alvernia, Friday in the Anderson Center.
The Cougars beat Marywood, 3-1 (22-25, 25-17, 25-22, 30-28) before falling to Alvernia, 3-1 (23-25, 15-25, 25-23, 18-25).
Jassmine Watson had 10 kills and 21 digs in the opener while
Paige Shaughnessy added nine kills, three aces, two blocks and 15 digs.
Tara Welliver had three aces and four blocks and
Karley May had 19 assists.Â
Ariana Gagliardi had 17 assists.
Against Alvernia, Shaughnessy had 10 kills while Welliver had nine and
Michelle Sehested added eight. Gagliardi had 22 assists and
Kaitlin Wheeler had 21 digs and three aces.
May added 16 assists and three aces.
MU, 8-3, will host Cairn and Farmingdale in a tri-match, Saturday.
