Box Score The Misericordia University field hockey team posted its second straight shutout in a 3-0 win at Manhattanville, Saturday.

Haley Gruber scored twice and Kailey Vogl added a goal.

Colby Eldridge had her goal-scoring streak snapped at three games, but added two assists.

Kortney McEwen had an assist and Katelyn Campbell stopped the only shot on goal.

Misericordia had a 20-3 advantage in shots, including 11-1 in shots on goal.  The Cougars had 14 corners while allowing just three.

Gruber gave the Cougars the lead midway through the first half when knocked a loose ball inside the right post.

Vogl made it 2-0 off a corner with 13 minutes remaining and Gruber scored from six yards out with just over eight minutes left.

MU will host Susquehanna in a non-conference game, Wednesday at 7:00.
