Jason Kenny scored 25 points to move into second place in school history and lead the Misericordia University men's basketball team to an 86-70 win over Dickinson, Sunday afternoon in the Anderson Center.

Noah Rivera added 16 points and
Foster Clark had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Stone McCreary added nine points and five assists as the Cougars improved to 4-1.

Kenny now has 1,636 career points and moved past Jason Perry (1625) into second place on MU's all-time scoring list behind current head coach
Will Chandler.

Kenny beat the shot clock on the opening possession with a three-pointer from the left wing and
Tony Harding and Rivera followed with buckets for a 7-0 lead.

Dickinson answered with 11 straight points before
Brendan Leonard hit a three-pointer from the left corner and Kenny made two free throws to put MU back in front, 12-11.

Rivera found Harding on a back-door cut on the baseline for an easy layup and a 29-18 lead with 6;14 left in the first half.

Rivera followed up with a spin move in the lane and converted the three-point lead to make it 34-23 with 4:23 to go.

Clark's putback made it 40-30, but Dickinson hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to get within 40-33.

Misericordia quickly stretched the lead to 51-37 on a three-point play by Kenny less than three minutes into the second half.

Pat Douthit and McCreary combined for three straight three-pointers to give the Cougars a 60-41 lead with 15:07 to play.

Douthit's jumper in the lane and two free throws by
Justin Iton gave MU its biggest lead of the night, 65-43, midway through the second half.

Dickinson never got closer than 13 points the rest of the way.

Misericordia will visit Susquehanna, Wednesday.
