The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team improved to 3-0 in the MAC Freedom with a 21-5 win at Delaware Valley, Saturday.
Kaila Quinlivan had four goals and an assist and
Kate Raab added four goals.
Olivia Garcia had three goals and an assist and
Amy Roth added a goal and three assists while
Emily Connell and
Sarah Bender scored twice.
Bri Ladner had eight draw controls, four ground balls and three caused turnovers while Quinlivan added five draws and three ground balls.
Garcia opened the scoring and Raab scored twice in an eight-second span for a 3-0 lead just over five minutes into the game.
Quinlivan made it 4-0 less than 20 seconds later and
Lexee Willey added a goal less than a minute later.
Bender extended MU's lead to 6-0 before Del Val got on the board.
The Cougars responded with seven unanswered goals over the final 16:12 of the first half to take a 13-1 lead.
MU will visit Wilkes, Wednesday.
