The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team defeated Manhattanville University, 20-7 on Senior Appreciation Day, Saturday afternoon at Mangelsdorf Field.

Olivia Garcia and
Ashley Hobbs fueled the Cougar offense as they combined for four goals and four assists.

Garcia had three goals and two assists and Hobbs added a goal and two assist.

Emily Connell and
Lexee Willey had four goals each and
Kaila Quinlivan added two goals and three assists.

Brianna Lander led the Cougars' defense with four groundballs, nine draw controls and three caused turnovers.

The Cougars responded to Manhattanville's goal in the opening minute, with a 13-2 run to take a 13-3 halftime lead.

Seven different players scored for the Cougars in the second half, including
Shae O'Leary and
Sarah Bender.

Tori Hodges made six saves in goal for the Cougars.

Misericordia remained undefeated in conference play with their fifth straight victory and improved to 9-6 overall and 5-0 in the MAC Freedom.
