Box Score The Misericordia University softball team lost to Manhattanville, 9-1, in the winner's bracket final at the MAC Freedom Championships, Friday at King's.

The Cougars will face King's in an elimination game, Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with the winner advancing to face Manhattanville.

Brianna Holder and Kiersten Pflueger combined for all of MU's offense with one hit apiece.  Pflueger drove in Holder for Misericordia's lone run.

Holder doubled down the left field line with two outs in the top of the first and Pflueger followed with single up the middle to give MU a 1-0 lead.

Manhattanville answered with three runs in the bottom of the first and went on to score nine unanswered runs in the five-inning win.
