The Misericordia University men's soccer team remained unbeaten in the MAC Freedom with a 3-1 win over Wilkes, Wednesday night at Mangelsdorf Field.

John Caracappa all scored for the Cougars.
Misericordia had a 17-11 advantage in shots, including 6-2 on goal. The Cougars had a 9-5 edge in corners.
Dominic Pizzi made one save in goal.
The Cougars had a corner in the opening minute and played the ball to
Levi Roberts in the middle of the box where he rolled a shot just wide of the right post.
The Cougars threatened again in the fifth minute when
Nick Szczerba carried the ball down the middle and played a ball to
Jared Houser on the right flank where he played a diagonal ball toward the left post, but the Wilkes keeper came off his line to clear
the ball away.
Goldberg finally got MU on the board at 43:57 when he headed a serve from Roberts inside the left post off a re-start from 30 yards out.
Rogers made it 2-0 early in the second half when he headed a corner from Caracappa inside the right post.
Wilkes cut the lead in half with a penalty kick at 69:00, but the Cougars answered with a PK from Caracappa just over two minutes later.
Misericordia is 4-5-4 overall and 1-0-2 in the MAC Freedom while Wilkes is 6-5-2 (1-2).
