The Misericordia University men's lacrosse team rallied for a 13-10 win at Wilkes in a key MAC Freedom contest, Wednesday evening.

Patrick Luzzi led the Cougars with six goals and an assist and
Robert Wagner had three goals and an assist.

Brandon Winslow had a goal and two assists and
Paul Hanrahan added a goal and an assist.

Dylan Walsh and
Allen Thomas both added goals.

Winslow had a team-high six ground balls and Hanrahan had four.

Matt Beck made 19 saves and added four ground balls as the Cougars won their third straight game to improve to 7-6 overall and 3-2 in the MAC Freedom.

The Cougars found themselves down 7-2 early in the second quarter, but dominated the rest of the period with a 6-1 spurt to pull even at halftime, 8-8.

Luzzi assisted on Hanrahan's goal to start the run and followed with a man-up goal.

Wagner and Thomas scored to get the Cougars within a goal, 7-6, but Wilkes answered with a goal.

Winslow scored unassisted to pull MU back within one goal and Wagner scored a man-down goal in the final minute of the first half to send the Cougars into halftime tied 8-8.

After a scoreless third period, Luzzi put the Cougars in front for the first time with his first of four fourth-quarter goals.

Wagner and Luzzi followed with goals to give the Cougars an 11-8 lead with 9:56 to play.

Following a Wilkes goal, Luzzi scored man-up to make it 12-9 and added a goal in the final minute.
