The Misericordia University baseball team split a doubleheader at King's, Thursday, to take the season series.

Ian McCole and
Taylor Price combined on a four-hit shutout as the Cougars won the opener, 7-0.

McCole struck out five and allowed six hits in six innings. Price struck out and allowed one hit in the seventh.

Brady Madden had two hits and three RBI and
Sean Boylan had two hits and drove in two runs.

Steve Weisensee,
Tyler Holzapfel and
Shane Hughes added two hits each.

Madden and
Billy Kerwien drove in runs in the top of the first and the Cougars put the game away with four runs in the sixth on two-run singles by Boylan and Madden.

Santo Guinta had two hits for the Cougars in the nightcap.

The Cougars are 24-10 and will host Rutgers-Camden, Tuesday.
