The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team scored 11 straight goals in the first and went on to a 23-5 win at Eastern, Saturday afternoon.
Kaila Quinlivan had two goals and six assists and
Justine Johnson added five goals and an assist.Â
Amy Roth had three goals and three assists and
Katie Reilly had four goals and an assist.
Kristen Ritter added three goals and an assist and
Shae O'Leary added two goals and an assist.
Bri Ladner had a team-high seven draw controls and
Amanda Rackliff had five draw controls.
Ritter added four ground balls.
Eastern scored just over two minutes into the game, but
Lauren Weitzel pulled the Cougars even just over two minutes later.
Reilly scored three goals in a nine-minute span as the Cougars roared to an 11-1 lead with 13:00 to play in the first half.
The Cougars led 14-3 at halftime and dominated the second half as well to improve to 7-5 overall and 2-0 in the MAC Freedom.
