The Misericordia University women's basketball team used a balanced scoring attack to cruise to a 77-36 win over Delaware Valley, Thursday night in the Anderson Center.
Tessa Zamolyi had 13 points and 13 rebounds and
Gianna Delfino added 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
Alyssa Bondi and
Morgan Haefele both had 10 points and
Jordan Barth added nine points and 12 rebounds.
Misericordia scored the game's first seven points and took a 10-2 lead on Delfino's three-pointer with 4:28 left in the first quarter.
Bondi scored five straight points and Haefele closed the period with a free throw to give MU an 18-8 lead.
The Cougars used an 11-0 run while holding the Aggies scoreless for the first 6:49 of the second quarter to build a 29-8 lead.
Zamolyi hit a three-pointer late in the period as the Cougars took a 39-14 halftime lead.
The Cougars improved to 13-1 overall and 3-1 in the MAC Freedom and will travel to Stevens, Saturday.
